The winter season gets extra warm and special as the Rock Choir wraps up the fall with these heartwarming shows:
On Friday, November 28, 2025, Leuven by Night kicks off the holiday season in style. With thousands of lights, extended shopping hours, and festive street entertainment, the city is filled with cozy winter vibes. The holiday lights are officially switched on at 6:30 PM at Martelarenplein. Throughout the city center, choirs, light installations, fire acts, and other performers create a magical evening.
Our Rock Choir will also kick off the musical winter according to the following schedule:
♪ 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Bondgenotenlaan (in front of the Stadsschouwburg)
♪ 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Rector De Somerplein
♪ 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM: Bondgenotenlaan (in front of the Stadsschouwburg)
♪ 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Rector De Somerplein
On Wednesday, December 18, the Rock Choir performs at LUCA for Life, the benefit evening organized by students of LUCA School of Arts (Campus Lemmens) in support of De Warmste Week. The event features a mix of music, theater, dance, and other performances, complemented by a cozy Christmas dome with stalls and live jazz from 11 PM. Our Rock Choir’s performance starts at 8:20 PM at LUCA Campus Lemmens (Lemmensberg 3, 3000 Leuven).
Be sure to come listen, sing along, or simply enjoy these performances. We look forward to kicking off the fall season with you in song!
The Rock Choir of De Rockschool performs a mix of the greatest and most timeless pop and rock classics with fresh four-part arrangements. Under the direction of Gody, enthusiastic singers of all levels work weekly on harmonies, vocal technique, and powerful performances.
The Rockschool bands will be giving their first Rockschool Rock Try-out on March 15th at STUK Café: a free afternoon full of live music and a preview of the big performance on May 2nd. More information will follow.
