Music Lessons Leuven

Tailored music lessons in the heart of Leuven

De Rockschool is a creative, hands-on private music school in the center of Leuven, located above the Leo Caerts Music Shop (Naamsestraat 90). For over 25 years, we have been offering professional, personalized music and band lessons. Everyone aged 6 and up is welcome, from absolute beginners picking up an instrument for the first time to advanced and professional musicians.

Whether you want to learn an instrument, improve your vocal technique, or dream of playing in a real band, we have you covered. During our weekly 30-minute individual lessons, you work one-on-one with a personal coach. We fully tailor the content to your skill level, interests, and goals. Plus, you get to choose the instructor who suits you best from our team of passionate professionals!

Absences

We understand that it’s not always possible to attend a music lesson every week. That’s why each student is entitled to 3 valid absences per school year (1 per ten lesson series). If you’re sick, a simple doctor’s note allows you to schedule a make-up lesson at the end of your lesson series. If you have to work, a note from your employer is sufficient. Our regulations list all the valid reasons for which you can request a make-up lesson.

Band classes

Our rock camps are becoming legendary, and due to growing demand, we now offer students the chance to play together throughout the year under the guidance of a coach. Whether you’re a drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, singer, or tambourine player, we’ll match you with the right fellow musicians. We take into account your favorite genre, age, and skill level.

With a coach guiding you, you’ll play your favorite songs for one hour a week alongside other musicians, all with the goal of getting ready to conquer the world. And hopefully, the world is ready for your rising talent, because at the end of the year, we wrap things up with our exciting end concert 'Rockschoolrock' featuring all the bands.
