Rock Choir

*IMPORTANT INFO*

We will process registrations for the new school year 2026 - 2027 in several phases:

From June 1st → All current students can re-reserve their current lesson slot (same lesson day, time, and coach)
From July 1st → All current students can choose a new lesson slot (new lesson day, time, coach, instrument, ...)
From August 1st → All remaining lesson slots will be released for new students

Registrations for music initiation and rock choir follow the same phases as individual lessons.
Registrations for band lessons are possible throughout the year; bands are formed in August.

Do you want to sing along loudly to the greatest pop and rock classics in a group? Sing along with one of our Rock Choirs! Every Monday or Wednesday evening, the choir meets to further develop your voice, singing talent, and love of music. Under the direction of conductors Marie or Gody, you will bring the best songs from pop and rock history to life in fresh, multi-part harmonies during 30 one-and-a-half-hour lessons.

The price for a full school year of 30 lessons is €225 (fee 2025 - 2026)
Current members receive a €20 discount

Practical

From the 2026–2027 school year, there are two choirs you can choose from:

OPEN VOICES (start-up choir)

Rehearsals take place weekly on Mondays at 19h30 at theHeilige-Drievuldigheidscollege
Each rehearsal lasts 90 minutes
In the direction of conductor Marie, with piano accompaniment
You do not need any musical experience to participate
Trial sessions always take place on the first rehearsal day of the month
Choir members bring their own music stand, you can order these from us at a discount

PRIME VOICES (experienced choir)

Rehearsals take place weekly on Wednesdays at 19h30 at the WZC De Groene Boog
Each rehearsal lasts 90 minutes
In the direction of conductor Gody, with piano accompaniment
No musical experience is needed to participate, but it is recommended
Trial sessions always take place on the first rehearsal day of the month
Choir members bring their own music stand, you can order these from us at a discount

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an experienced singer, a shower rock star, or just want to give it a try, all levels and voices are more than welcome in Leuven’s one and only Rock Choir.

What can you expect?

Each rehearsal lasts 90 minutes filled with the joy of singing. You learn not only to sing together, but also sound vocal techniques that you will take with you for the rest of your life. Together with conductor Gody and Marie and your fellow choir members, you practice new and classic pop and rock songs, create beautiful four-part arrangements, and discover your own voice, while building a close bond with the group.

Final concert & other concerts

Everything you learn leads up to a spectacular performance on the stage of a sold-out 30CC Minnepoort. Here, you’ll have the chance to captivate the audience as part of Rockschoolrock! In addition to the explosive highlight at Rockschoolrock, the rock choir's schedule also includes the following performances:
