New band in Leuven looking for second guitarist
Who are we? We are a newly formed collective (vocals/rhythm guitar & drums) from the Leuven area. We play alternative rock with a raw, bluesy edge. Our sound nods to the energy of PJ Harvey, Jack White, QOTSA and Anna Calvi: catchy riffs with a dark side.
The engine is running and the songs are ready to be developed into a layered, dynamic whole.
Who are we looking for?
• BASSIST: Together with the drummer, you form the unshakable foundation. We’re looking for a distinctive, solid sound that gives the songs body and depth.
• LEAD GUITARIST: You’re creative with effects and atmospheres, but you understand the art of restraint. You know your scales (we love that Phrygian edge) and can occasionally deliver a strong solo.
• Preferably someone with live performance experience.

I make punk rock/alt rock/grunge music, and I sometimes like to experiment with weird ideas. New death/thrash metal band looking for vocalist, guitarist, and bassist!
We’ve started a new death/thrash metal band inspired by Slayer, Hypocrisy, Fear Factory, Obituary, Death, old school Sepultura, Slipknot — and we’re also into modern bands like Orbit Culture and Avatar. Right now it’s one guitarist and a drummer, both in our early 30s, and we’re looking for an additional guitarist, a bassist, and a singer who can match the style — brutal vocals, groove, and high energy!
We rehearse in Oud-Heverlee, mainly for fun, but with the aim of playing gigs in the future. Someone in a similar age range would be great, but younger than 30 works just as well — and women are absolutely welcome too. If you live around Leuven, we can also arrange to give you a ride.

New death/thrash metal band looking for vocalist, guitarist and bassist
‘The Project’ is a new band in development, currently without an official name, but with plenty of motivation to create powerful music together. All members are 40+ with a strong musical drive. We play, among others, Tjens Couter, Brant Bjork, All Them Witches, and Clutch. The style: groovy and heavy rock.
The project is being taken seriously. Starting in September, the band will resume band coaching at De Rockschool. The goal is to build a strong live set aiming for a performance at Rockschoolrock 2026.
That’s why there’s room for a second guitarist. The focus is on riffs, atmosphere, and dynamics. There is room for personal input.

We are Killarect, a new nu-metal band from the Leuven region, heavily inspired by bands like Korn and many others. We're determined to create our own music – hard, groovy, and raw. Simply Fred & The Red Shoes, komende uit regio Sterrebeek - Kortenberg, bestond uit een zanger, twee gitaristen, een bassist, een drummer en een toetsenist.
Aangezien onze leadgitarist ons zopas heeft verlaten zijn we dan ook op zoek naar een nieuwe.
Onze leeftijdscategorie bestaat momenteel uit drie 50-tigers en twee 70-igers waarvan onze drummer het meeste ervaring heeft.
We hebben een eigen ruime repetitieruimte in Sterrebeek en repeteren in principe éénmaal per week van 19 u tot 22 u.
Wij spelen covers van de jaren 50, 60, 70, 80 en 90 zoals CCR, Simple Minds, De Kreuners, Elvis Presley, The Scabs, Raymond v/h Groenewoud, The Eagles, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Cheap Trick, Smokie, The Box Tops, in totaal zo'n 40 nummers.
