DE ROCKSCHOOL

De Rockschool is the vibrant music school of Leuven and the surrounding area. With nearly 40 music coaches and 600 happy students, The Rockschool offers music lessons at your own pace, a variety of workshops, amazing final concerts, and a few legendary annual music camps. 1. HEAD COACH PIANO / VOCALS (vacancy)

As Head Coach Piano / Vocals, you combine teaching with a coaching and supportive role within our team of singers, pianists, and songwriters.

Job description

Teaching

You teach individual vocal and/or piano lessons of 30 minutes per student (children, teenagers & adults)
Lessons are tailored to the student’s level and interests
You are available to teach at least 2 days per week
You work independently, but in close collaboration with the team and administration

Coaching & Follow-up

You are responsible for the follow-up of (starting) vocal and piano coaches
You guide them during their onboarding, introduce them to the school’s vision and day-to-day operations
You provide content-related and practical support where needed
You act as a point of contact for questions regarding vocal and piano lessons

Who are we looking for?

You are a self-employed singing- and/or piano coach (no students)
You have proven teaching experience (vocals and/or piano)
You communicate strongly from a pedagogical point of view with different age groups
You are social, supportive, and well organised
You take responsibility and actively contribute to the quality and operation of the school
Songwriting experience is a strong asset
