Parking

Finding a place to park in Leuven is not that easy, we recommend that you use public transport or a bicycle as much as possible.

If you come by car, you have a few options:

  • Underground : The nearest parking lot is 'Q-Park Heilig Hart', just a 200m walk away . Here you pay 2 euros for every new 45 minutes started.
  • On-street parking: There are many parking spaces in the streets between Naamsestraat, Vlamingenstraat and the Leuven ring road. Leuven works with a parking meter on almost all streets. Here you pay 2.5 euros per hour between 9am and 9pm. Please note, the 'parking card' sign means that you need a resident's card to park, so it is not allowed to park here with a parking disk. This is, for example, the case in Naamsestraat from the school to the center.
  • Free parking: You can park at the 'Bodart' car park for 10 hours with a parking disk. It is a 2 km walk . Because this is about the only free parking in Leuven, it is regularly full.
  • Free on the street: There are many free parking spaces on the outside of the Leuven ring road. You will then have to travel quite a distance on foot. It's best to do some research before you leave.
  • Bus: Bus line 2 takes you very close to the school. Both bus stops are located 200m from De Rockschool. During the week a bus leaves every 8 minutes.
