Rock, pop, funk, jazz, R&B, salsa, ... You name it, I can learn you any genre! Together we will look at your skills and practice further so that you can play all your favorite songs. My main focus is to put exercises into practice by playing along to your favorite music. I want to share the joy of drumming with everyone. You can see me play live at 'Isadore' and 'Oclis' and hear on some recordings of '2 Times Nothing'.
Lucien (English & French)
I'm a professional drummer from Melbourne, Australia. I studied jazz drumming at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and have taught drums privately and through Music Schools for around 8 years. I teach all different styles of drumming, including Rock, Jazz, Funk and Latin. I teach drummers of all ages and levels, from absolute beginners to more experienced drummers seeking to develop their technique and rhythmic vocabulary.

Drumming is fun, fun should always come first. We are working on a good basis on which we can continue working in the direction you decide. We look at genres, bands, drummers,… as inspiration to further develop your own playing.

Inspiring every student is my goal!
My focus is mainly on R&B, funk and hip hop but all genres will be covered in my lessons. With my diploma at the Rotterdam Conservatory and my experience as a private coach, I am ready to train every student to become a full-fledged drummer.

Would you like to learn how to play the drums (better)? All levels are welcome! Together we discover new rhythms, fills and grooves and we make sure that we get the drummer / drummer in you to the stage in the way that suits you best. You learn to play both from score and by ear and learn to play your favorite songs quickly. You can hear me playing on Collectivo - Bag Bind and Lohaus recordings.

Are you a beginner or do you want to improve your drumming? Together we work on technique, groove, timing and sound. I let you taste different styles and write your own drum lines. We start from your personal interests and ambitions.'
