Let's write down the most important things:
Age:
All ages are welcome in our music school. However, we do notice that some toddlers aged 4 to 5 are not yet physically ready to play an instrument. For example, they are too small to crawl behind a drum or piano or the guitar is too big for them. It is therefore important that you find out whether your child is big enough to start. Because you don't need an instrument for singing lessons, toddlers can start at an early age. With a trial lesson you can perfectly test whether your child is ready! During 30 minutes, the coach will be able to form a good picture of your child's physical abilities.
Primary school children are the perfect age to start music lessons. The earlier your child starts music lessons, the faster they can grow. But adults and pensioners can also start learning an instrument. Making music is not only fun, it's also healthy!
As long as you can and want to practice half an hour a day, you will master your instrument!
Experience :
Experience is absolutely not necessary to start with us. Our coaches are experienced musicians who can teach you a lot. In our music school you learn to play your first chords or sing scales and you can grow into the next up-and-coming talent.
Professional musicians who want some extra guidance or have a specific question can also contact us!
Instrument:
The most important choice you will have to make in your musical career is the choice of the instrument that suits you best. Sometimes it seems fun to play a certain instrument, but when you finally start it turns out it's not for you. In De Rockschool you are free to move your music lessons to another instrument! In this way you can try out every instrument in our music school with a ten-lesson card. You can use our instruments during a trial lesson. Once you found the instrument of your dreams? Take a look at our music store to find the instrument of your dreams (PS all our students get a nice discount here too).
Coach:
Finally, there remains 1 decision that you will have to make. Who do I want to take lessons with? Here too we make it easy for you. Via Het Team you can take a look at all our teachers. This way you can find a coach that really suits you!
