Band Retreat

The Rockschool continues to innovate as always and is completely changing things up in the week from April 14 to 18. For the very first time in Rockschool history, we are organizing the band retreat!

Do you have a band but struggle to find the time and space to rehearse your material thoroughly? Does your band only have a few hours per day to make noise before you have to stop or search for another rehearsal room? Would you like to make music all day, from morning to evening? Or are you looking for a quiet, secluded place where you can work on your album for several days?

If this is what you’re looking for, you and your band are more than welcome at the band retreat! Especially for you, Rockschool is transforming the domain and rooms of the Kluis into rehearsal spaces! These spaces can be rented for 1 to 4 days, with overnight stays and three professionally prepared meals per day. All of this is located in the middle of a beautiful natural domain, where you can make music completely off the grid. Pick one of three packages and plan your day(s) as you see fit!

Bands of all sizes and ages are welcome! Whether you’re a duo, a big band, or something in between, you can rent a space from us.

Not only is your band welcome, but your entire crew will also be pampered by us.

Accommodation

Every band- and crewmember receives:

• Three meals made by professional chefs
• Plenty of snacks (afternoon snack, midnight snack, fruit)
• Unlimited supply of free coffee and water
• Five drinks (soft drinks, beer, wine, etc.)
• Accommodation in private rooms with your band and crew

As a band, you can choose from the packages below. Once you have found your preferred package, you can freely ask your price!

How does it work?

You choose one of the three packages for one or more days. Your band is welcome for a rehearsal day starting at 4PM until 4PM the next day. With every package, you get three meals, snacks, an unlimited supply of coffee and water, plus overnight accommodation. If you stay multiple days, this applies to all days. Every evening, you’re free to participate in an evening activity or enjoy a drink at the bar.

Are you a beginner band or don’t have transport to move all your equipment? Rockschool can provide equipment for the whole band. This way, you can start rehearsing smoothly without spending an hour unloading and setting up.

Want to do more than just rehearse? For such enthusiasts, Rockschool offers a few extras:

• Coaching: songwriting, ensemble playing, technique, etc. Whatever you need, Rockschool will find the most suitable coach for your request.
• Recording: Want to hear how your band sounds? Rockschool offers recording equipment. For example, you can listen to your own set and work out the mistakes.
• Something else? Contact us. Rockschool has a broad network and is happy to use it to help you further.

You are completely free to fill your days however you like. Whether you want to rehearse for 14 hours straight, alternate with a bit of nature and a drink, or learn a lot, we offer you the opportunity, freedom, and space to do this and more.

*Non-members of De Rockschool pay a deposit for the vocal system & backline. The backline consists of 1 drum kit, 2 guitar amplifiers, 1 bass amplifier, 1 piano, and a vocal system, and can be adjusted and expanded within limited sizes.
